The Apple Watch does offer limited Apple Intelligence capabilities, specifically related to notification summaries. Apple Intelligence, which was introduced with iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, primarily focuses on devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. However, one feature that extends to the Apple Watch is the ability to provide summarized notifications. 

This feature allows the watch to show a quick summary of longer messages in notifications, making it easier to grasp the content at a glance, which is particularly useful given the small screen size of the Apple Watch. This is facilitated through the iPhone, as the Apple Watch itself does not run Apple Intelligence features independently due to hardware limitations. 

Here’s how it works:

Notification Summaries: When your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence and you enable the summarization feature, the notifications you receive on your paired Apple Watch will include AI-generated summaries of the content. This means even if the Apple Watch doesn’t natively support Apple Intelligence, it benefits from the feature through its connection with the iPhone.

However, other advanced Apple Intelligence features like AI writing tools, image generation, or more complex Siri interactions are not available on the Apple Watch due to its processing constraints.
