Paying your fair share?

I have seen over the past four years and maybe more, Democrats and their minions bemoaning the fact that millionaires aren’t paying their fair share.

In that time, I’ve yet to see any reasoned articulation as to what constitutes a “fail share.” Currently the US Government debt stands at $36 Trillion with no end in sight.

By what means do the Democrats and their minions think that by having millionaires paying their “fair share,” is going to reduce the out of control, waste, fraud and abuse spending that has been going on ad infinitum?

The real culprits in the entire issue aren’t those who are identified as not paying their fair share. Rather your attention should be turned towards the US Congress. It has been nearly 30 years since the U.S. Congress passed a complete, on-time federal budget through the normal appropriations process and sent it to the President.

The current fiscal dilemma that we are in isn’t going to magically correct itself or disappear with an influx of additional “fair share” monies. Instead of the public weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, direct your ire and rage at your local congressman/congresswoman. Ask they to account for why they’ve abdicated their responsibility to provide a balanced budget for the US Government.

If your Senator or Representative is unable to provide you with a satisfactory answer, they need to be replaced by someone who will.
